The purpose of this program is to improves the students’ self-confidence and eliminate their “poverty complex.” Sadly, many of our students start their studies at BEA with little self-worth due to their impoverished backgrounds. So far, our annual student evaluations have revealed that the BEA kids feel more positive about themselves and this has helped them with their family life and studies.
We’re planning to expand this program for the 2014-15 school year. Our first semester themes will include BEA’s Child Protection Policy, bullying and family alcoholism. We’re really excited to hear what the BEA kids will have to say about those issues.
